Regional Tournament Update

Well we got there and played our first game against South Carolina and were ahead the whole game and ended up losing at the end 6 to 4, I think nerves set in, cause we didnt look so good! The second game was against Virgina and we came out victorious with a 4 to 3 score. The third game was against West Virginia and we won again with a 4 to 3 score. Winning made us the #1 seed in our pool and put us to the semi-finals. We lost the the semi-final game against Florida 5 to 4. It seemed each game we had one bad inning. We placed third and the girls have an experience they wil never forget! By the way Georgia won and will be heading to the world series in Portland Oregan!

Regionals

The regional tournament starts July 30 in West Virginia. You can check out all the fun on www.mitchstadium.com.

STATE CHAMPS!

The game for the championship was against Daniel Boone and we won 3 to 1. The girls are undefeated through the District and State tournament! Next stop is regionals in West Virginia!

GOING ALL THE WAY!

The girls won their game tonight 9 to 6 tonight against Unicoi County (who was the 2008 state champions) The next game will be for the championship!

State Tournament

The girls are at the state tournament and won their first game tonight beating Maryville!

Next Level

The girls will be going to Erwin Tennessee to compete at the State Level!

Girls Rule

The 11 and 12 year old district 9 champions. This girls softball team represents Stokes Field, Northwest Little League in Clarksville Tennessee. They won the district championship by defeating their competition first game against Stewart County 25 to 0, the second game against Dickson county 18 to 0, the third game against Clarksville National 20 to 0, and the last game for the Championship against Montgomery Central 11 to 1. We are so proud of these girls for playing so hard and working as a team. They will be off to the next level on Saturday! Go Northwest!
